Specialized Services
I have an eclectic, person-centered approach when it comes to therapy. Which means that what’s important to you, is important to me to focus on in sessions. In addition, there are specialities that I have been trained in or am receiving training in and are listed below.

I have been a Certified TF-CBT therapist for 5 years and utilized this modality while working with adolescents and have incorporated components of this while working with adults. TF-CBT is an evidence-based therapy designed to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers recover from the effects of traumatic experiences. It is most commonly used with children and teens ages 3–18 who have experienced events such as abuse, neglect, violence, accidents, natural disasters, or the loss of a loved one.
TF-CBT helps individuals understand how trauma affects their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while teaching practical skills to manage distress and build resilience. The therapy is structured, goal-oriented, and typically lasts 12–25 sessions, though the length may vary based on individual needs.
An important component when working with children and adolescents is having a few sessions with parents/caregivers.
